What it is

Sovereign AI Platform is a privacy-first AI platform designed to run fully on customer-controlled infrastructure (including air‑gapped environments) for teams that cannot send sensitive data (IP, finance/legal/medical) to cloud AI APIs. We start from an Ollama + OpenWebUI baseline and are building the “product layer” required for real adoption: stable local APIs, model lifecycle/versioning, RBAC + audit logs, and offline update/diagnostics workflows.

Problem

AI demand is high, but cloud AI APIs are not acceptable for many organizations due to data exposure and compliance risk. This blocks adoption or forces brittle “shadow AI” workarounds.

Alpha 1 (demo) — 1–2 months

What the demo shows

• Single-node install (Docker Compose) that runs locally.
• Workflows: doc summarization/extraction, internal ops/support chatbot, text→image “infographic”.

Success criteria (benchmark proof)

• X: ≥ 80% pass rate on domain eval suite (healthcare, finance, IP-heavy SMEs).
• Y: N=3 concurrent users, p95 ≤ 30s (text summary) and ≤ 120s (text→image).
• OpenAI used only as benchmark baseline for text/domain evals: gpt-4o-mini.

• True on‑prem / air‑gapped operation (no hidden cloud dependency).
• Measurable performance claims anchored in a transparent eval harness.
