Investor FAQ
Objections, proof boundaries, and roadmap labels.
Short answers for the questions investors and design partners should ask before trusting a local AI beta: what exists, what Alpha 1 proves, and what remains later direction.
FAQ
Product, proof, market, and fundraising questions.
What are you building?
An on-prem, air-gapped AI platform for IP-heavy SMEs and regulated teams that cannot send sensitive data to cloud AI APIs. Alpha 1 focuses on a local AI workspace, private knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, model/runtime controls, RBAC + audit logs, operator diagnostics, offline updates, and a benchmark harness.
What is proven today?
Current public proof is narrow: a running lab prototype baseline with Ollama + OpenWebUI and a documented single-node Docker Compose deployment. Public demo media is not published yet.
Which client features does Alpha 1 prove?
The target proof is a local AI workspace for document summarization/extraction, internal support questions, private knowledge retrieval, repeatable workflow automation, model/runtime controls, RBAC + audit logs, operator diagnostics, offline updates, and benchmark harness evidence.
What is roadmap, not current proof?
Agents, voice, richer observability, extension packaging, hardware-aware profiles, and broader media workflows are later direction. They should not be read as shipped product proof.
Why will this win against hyperscalers and sovereign cloud?
The wedge is the segment where cloud is not acceptable. The product focuses on local operation, offline updates, diagnostics, auditability, and measurable benchmark evidence instead of generic sovereignty claims.
How do you prevent data leakage?
Alpha 1 assumes no outbound internet. Data stays on customer-controlled infrastructure. Logging and diagnostics are designed to avoid persisting sensitive prompts and responses by default.
Do you depend on proprietary models?
No. The platform standardizes on an open-runtime baseline and supports multiple open model families.
OpenAI gpt-4o-mini is used only as a benchmark baseline for text/domain evals with
non-sensitive inputs.
Do you have traction?
Not yet; this is pre-pilot. The honest proof today is the lab baseline and local deployment documentation. Design-partner pilots are a milestone after Alpha 1.
What is the fundraising plan?
Pre-seed equity round. Current framing is a lean $250k-$300k raise for roughly 12 months to ship Alpha 1, the benchmark harness, 2 design-partner pilots, and a first paid deployment.
Still evaluating?
Read the one-pager or ask for the latest evidence package.
The next public proof should be a sanitized Alpha 1 walkthrough and benchmark report, not private lab screenshots.
